FIFA extends sales phase

20 April: The 4th sales phase now ends 24 April 2006. Quite a few tickets were released throughout the past few days. For a listing of ticket releases, visit our Statistics page.

FIFA opens ticket portal

28 March: Yesterday FIFA has opened a ticket portal for ticket holders who wishes to return their tickets. WorldCupSMS has integerated this new option in its service today.

This site was designed by football fans for football fans. So we have tried to keep costs to the fan down to a minimum.

The cost has been designed to cover the minimum cost for administration, SMS and Email services only.

For a minimal, one-off set up fee of €4.99, fans can receive up to 10 SMS and email messages.

The messages will notify you precisely as soon as tickets for the games you have selected are available on the FIFA World Cup web site. It’s that easy.

Recharging your account

Topping up your account is simple and it means that you will never miss out on any important SMS messages. Messages that could make the difference between going to the game or not.

To save disappointment it is a good idea to top up your account regularly, especially if you have multiple ticket or multiple game requests, or if you credit is running low.

You can top up your account as often as you like.

Payments are acceptable in €4.99 instalments only.

For each €4.99 you pay, you will receive up to another 10 SMS and email notifications.

Remember, you will only receive an SMS notification when tickets to the game you have selected become available. If one or more of your categories are available at any one time, you will receive one SMS for all categories.

The more games you choose, the more SMS you are likely to receive, and the greater chance to purchase a ticket from the FIFA World Cup Website.

To top up your account:

Simply log on to the website.
Click on the “Recharge My Account” button on the left margin.
Agree to the Terms & Conditions
Make the &uero;4.99 payment to PayPal

Your account will then automatically be credited with 10 extra SMS credits.

Please note: Credit will only be given once as son as the payment has been accepted.
